What to See at the Centre Pompidou Málaga

Outside France, the city of Málaga in Spain was chosen as the second location for making works from the Paris collection and other exhibitions accessible to the public. However, a visit to the Centre Pompidou is worthwhile for more than just its art collection. The building itself is worth the trip.

Known as “El Cubo” (The Cube), the glass structure rises above Málaga’s harbour and has long since become one of the city’s hotspots. But let’s return to the art itself. The institution features works by artists such as Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon, Marc Chagall and René Magritte.

The Centre Pompidou is not only known for paintings. You can also discover installations, video recordings and much more. The travelling exhibitions ensure there is always something new to explore.
